Cookie policy

Last updated 15 October 2026

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. “Similar technologies” include browser storage such as localStorage. This page lists everything freewebsite247 uses and why.

1. Your choice

When you first visit, we ask before using anything that is not essential. “Accept all” and “Reject all” are equally easy, closing the banner counts as “Reject all”, and nothing optional is switched on until you say yes. We ask again after 6 months. You can change your mind at any time in Cookie settings, which is also linked at the bottom of every page.

The banner is shown in your browser’s language: all 24 official EU languages, plus Norwegian, Icelandic, Catalan, Basque and Galician. The same rules apply in every EU and EEA country, the UK and Switzerland.

The analytics and marketing tools listed above are only loaded if we switch them on and you agree. Until then, the site uses essential storage only.

Website chat. The chat window is only loaded when you tap the chat button. It then stores a session ID and your conversation in your browser (provided by LeadConnector, our customer platform) so the chat keeps working as you move around the site. This is needed for the chat you asked for, so it counts as essential, and it is never used for advertising.

3. Essential storage

Essential items are needed to run the site, keep it secure and remember your choices, so they do not need consent under EU rules (Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive and the national laws based on it). They are never used for advertising.

4. Controlling cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential storage may mean we cannot remember your cookie choice. If you withdraw consent, we delete our analytics and marketing cookies from your browser.
