This policy explains what personal data freewebsite247 collects, why, who we share it with and the rights you have. It is written for visitors and customers in the United States, the European Union, the wider EEA, the UK and Switzerland.
1. Who we are
freewebsite247 is run by Freewebsite247 LLC, 30 N Gould St #69934, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“we”, “us”). We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact us about anything in this policy at team@freewebsite247.com.
2. What we collect
- Order and enquiry details you give us: your name, business name, trade, city and state, mobile number, email address, the plan you choose, and any logo, photos or text you send.
- Customer details while you use our service: billing records, the content of your website, change requests, and messages between us. Card payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store full card numbers.
- Technical data when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and the time of your visit. Our hosting provider keeps this in short-lived security logs.
- Chat messages: if you use the chat on our website, what you write in it and the name and mobile number you give there. The chat runs through our customer platform at app.localleads247.com.
- Your cookie choice: a random ID, what you allowed, the language shown and the time. We keep this to prove what you agreed to.
- Cookies and similar technology, as explained in our cookie policy.
We do not ask for sensitive data (such as health, religion or political views), and our service is not for children under 16.
3. Why we use it and our legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6) |
|---|---|
| Taking your order, building, hosting and updating your website, and texting or emailing you about it | Contract (6(1)(b)) |
| Answering your questions in the website chat, including answers from our AI assistant | Steps you ask for before a contract (6(1)(b)) and legitimate interests (6(1)(f)) |
| Payments, invoices, tax and accounting records | Legal obligation (6(1)(c)) and contract |
| Keeping the site and our systems secure, preventing fraud and abuse | Legitimate interests (6(1)(f)) |
| Telling existing customers about similar services we offer (you can opt out any time) | Legitimate interests (6(1)(f)) |
| Analytics and ad measurement cookies (only if you say yes) | Consent (6(1)(a)) |
| Keeping a record of your cookie choice | Legal obligation (6(1)(c), Art. 7(1)) |
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects. Our AI design tools build websites; they do not make decisions about people. The chat on our website is answered by an AI assistant: its answers can be wrong, a person on our team checks anything important, and you can ask for a person at any time.
4. Text messages
If you give us your mobile number, we text you about your order, your preview, your website and your account. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We do not sell or share your mobile number or your text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the service, under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only on our instructions:
- Cloudflare: hosting, security, and storage of orders and cookie choices.
- HighLevel (LeadConnector): our customer platform at app.localleads247.com, for customer records, the website chat, inbox, texts, calls and bookings. Chat replies are written by an AI model (OpenAI) through this platform.
- Our payment provider (such as Stripe): card payments and billing.
- Google and Meta: only if you allow analytics or marketing cookies, and when we set up your Google Business Profile or post to your Facebook Page for you.
- Professional advisers (accountants, lawyers) and authorities, where the law requires it.
We do not sell personal data for money.
6. International transfers
Some providers are in the United States. Where data leaves the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (and its UK and Swiss extensions) where the provider is certified, or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for a copy of these safeguards.
7. How long we keep it
- Enquiries, chat conversations and orders that do not go ahead: up to 12 months.
- Customer records: for as long as you are a customer, then as long as tax and accounting law requires (generally up to 6 years).
- Cookie choices: 6 months for the choice itself; the anonymous record of it for up to 3 years.
- Security logs: a few days to a few weeks, as set by our hosting provider.
8. How we protect it
Everything is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to customer data is limited to the people who need it, and our providers use industry-standard security.
9. Your rights (EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland)
You can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, receive it in a portable format, and object to our use of it, including any marketing (you can always object to marketing). Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time, for cookies through Cookie settings. Email team@freewebsite247.com; we reply within one month.

10. Your rights in the United States
Depending on your state (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or Texas), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, to get a copy, to correct or delete it, and to opt out of targeted advertising, “sale” or “sharing”. We do not sell personal information for money. If we use Meta or Google advertising cookies, that may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising; you can opt out through Cookie settings. We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as an opt-out: with GPC on, marketing cookies stay off.
To use these rights, email team@freewebsite247.com. We may need to confirm your identity, and you may use an authorized agent. We reply within 45 days and will not treat you differently for using your rights. Our site does not respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals, but it does honor GPC as described above.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we post the new version here with a new date. If the change is significant, we will tell customers by email or text.
